MEMO — RE: EPILOGUE LANGUAGE PROBLEM & SOLUTION: AUBURN VALLEY PROJECT | 05.18.26
On May 18th, 2026, we sent the following memo to the State of Delaware Joint Committee on Capital Improvement, Representative Krista Griffith, Senator Dave Sokola, Senator Laura Sturgeon, Senator Stephanie Hansen, DNREC Secretary Greg Patterson, and DNREC Parks Director Matt Ritter. This memo was intended to provide a fuller picture and background to relevant legislators on the many issues we now face in Yorklyn & its surrounding areas as a direct result of the approved unregulated development. We also proposed new Epilogue Language to take effect in the 2027 Bond Bill that would correct existing issues with the language surrounding the Auburn Valley Project.
